The Bluenose Regatta: A Vancouver Classic Since 1988!

 

Originally launched in 1988 as a Laser-only event, the Bluenose Regatta has grown into a dynamic and inclusive multi-class regatta that now proudly stands as part of the BC Sailing Circuit.

Every year, sailors from across the Lower Mainland converge on English Bay to be part of the action. From eager juniors experiencing their first regatta to more seasoned racers, Bluenose brings together all levels of experience in a celebration of sailing and camaraderie.

Racing is just the beginning. On Saturday after racing, racers and coaches gather for a hot, hearty meal and - of course - plenty of hot chocolate with marshmallows to warm up after a full day on the water.

Whether you're racing, coaching or volunteering the Bluenose Regatta is your invitation to experience the spirit of West Coast sailing!
