Racing together since 1934

A summer tradition

Hosted by KYC since 1934, Kits Invitational brings together one-design sailors from British Columbia and the Pacific Northwest for racing on English Bay.

Fleets welcomed over the years include the International Flattie (Geary 18), Star, Lightning, Enterprise, 5O5, Martin 242, Cal 20 and F18 catamarans.

A familiar summer gathering for returning crews and sailors joining us for the first time.

Back ashore at KYC

After racing, the fleet comes together at KYC for a big dinner and social—one of the highlights of the Kits Invitational weekend. Sailors, club members and guests are all welcome.

Bring your crew, catch up with old friends and meet sailors from visiting clubs. Check the event details for dinner reservations, the menu and ticket information.
